  The Health Sciences Faculty Education Project works with four sites to provide technical assistance and training to faculty members, admissions and policy committees and student services staff to include all students.

Oregon Health & Science University

OHSU is a comprehensive university and hospital facility located in Portland, Oregon. The schools of medicine, nursing, dentistry and allied health each have designated faculty members to be Program Accommodations Liaisons (PAL).� The PALs assist faculty to enhance their teaching effectiveness for all students and to advise faculty and students when learning and performance challenges arise.

Portland Community College

PCC has a variety of nursing and allied health programs on its three campuses in Portland, Oregon.� Students can study Opthamology, Health Information Management, Medical Assisting, Biotechnology, Emergency Medical Technology, Nursing, Dental Hygiene and Assisting and other allied health professions.� Faculty members in these departments have also been designated as Pals, who work with the staff of the Office for Students with Disabilities to assist faculty to meet the needs of all students.

University of Tennessee Health Science Center

UTHSC is the largest health science center in the southeastern United States.� The Health Sciences Center provides a variety of degree opportunities in medicine, dentistry, nursing, allied health, pharmacy, and graduate health sciences.� The Student Academic Support Services office is also working to offer training opportunities to health sciences faculty.

 

Dartmouth Medical School

Dartmouth Medical School is one of the oldest medical schools in the country.� Located in New Hampshire, the medical school features a unique combined MD/PhD. Program.� The Health Sciences Faculty Education Project has partnered with staff from Dartmouth's Committee Students with Disabilities to provide technical assistance and training to faculty members
